Biography
Ms. Adeline Tan Shu Ting is a PhD candidate at Swinburne University of Technology, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. How Bing Shen and Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Viknesh Andiappan. Her research focuses on Process Systems Engineering, particularly on process synthesis and optimisation for advancing circular economy and implementing decarbonisation strategies. In fact, her PhD research specifically explores the implementation of plastic waste conversion and electrification strategies into existing industry to support the net-zero emissions transition. By leveraging P-graph, Ms. Adeline has applied this techniques to tackle challenges ranging from process synthesis to carbon mechanism, ensuring practical and cost-effective solutions for sustainable industry transformation.
