Biography

Clarence is a passionate and dedicated Master of Engineering (Research) candidate at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. With a solid foundation in Chemical Engineering, earned through his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical), Clarence has honed his expertise in mathematical modelling and optimisation, enabling him to make significant contributions to Process System Engineering. Throughout his academic journey, Clarence has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in both coursework and research. His research on optimisation of renewable energy systems to decarbonise oil refineries operations has been published and earned recognition from peers in the field. Beyond his academic success, Clarence has gained professional experience through various internship opportunities. This practical exposure has helped him develop a comprehensive skill set and a well-rounded perspective of sustainable engineering practices. Looking ahead, Clarence is passionate about advancing the transition to sustainable energy. He is aspired to contribute to global energy sustainability and with his strong passion on sustainability, he remains eager to continue his learning, gain more experiences and making a lasting impact in the field of sustainable energy practices.
